Greenberg Traurig’s Regina Pearson Appointed ABA Construction Law Forum’s Infrastructure, Energy & Environment Division Chair

AUSTIN, Texas – March 27, 2024 – Regina Pearson, a Corporate and Energy & Natural Resources shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Austin office, was appointed incoming chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Construction Law Forum’s Infrastructure, Energy, and the Environment Division (Division 10). The appointment took place Jan. 24 at the ABA Construction Law Mid-Winter Meeting.

Pearson has been a member of the Construction Law Forum since 2013 and on the steering committee of Division 10 since 2018. Additionally, she previously served as In-House Counsel Fellow for the ABA Forum on Construction Law. The ABA Forum on Construction Law cultivates its volunteer leaders for its fourteen Divisions focusing on specific practice areas.

According to its website, the mission of Division 10 is to provide resources, education, and a forum to discuss energy, infrastructure, and potential environmental aspects of construction projects and related strategies.

Pearson counsels clients on project development, throughout the entire lifecycle of a project with a focus on the engineering, construction, and operational strategies and agreements. Her experience includes counselling clients in the planning, development, and management of large construction projects. Pearson has deep experience advising on energy projects, including renewable and transition energy projects. Her past experience includes liquefied natural gas, power, petrochemical, hydrogen, and carbon capture and sequestration projects, among others.
