Greenberg Traurig’s Ari Newman Honored as ‘Rising Star’ at Global M&A Network Awards

MIAMI – Feb. 5, 2024 – Ari Newman, a Miami-based shareholder in Greenberg Traurig, P.A.’s Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice, was honored as a “Rising Star Dealmaker” at the annual Global M&A Network’s awards ceremony. The award honors the achievements of outstanding young dealmakers from the American investing, lending, restructuring, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) communities.

Newman has experience handling a variety of complex legal issues that arise in distressed situations, including in connection with Chapter 11 restructurings and liquidations, distressed transactions, strategic planning, workouts, bankruptcy litigation, and state law liquidations.

He typically represents and offers counsel to companies experiencing distress, Chapter 11 debtors, parties to distressed transactions, official committees in Chapter 11 cases, debtor-in-possession lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, and parties to bankruptcy litigation.
