MIAMI – July 16, 2014 – International law firm Greenberg Traurig has been selected as a Florida Powerhouse by Law360. The regional powerhouse series recognizes the law firms nationwide with the most significant presence and achievements in their respective home states and beyond.
Greenberg Traurig is credited in a Law360 article for its ability to grow from its Miami office to become an “international juggernaut” and attain significant success in a legal market seeing major growth in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and technology.
“The firm has grown into one of the largest in the world while remaining a key player in its home base and helping drive the region's growth as an international business hub,” the July 14 article reads.
Founded in Miami in 1967, Greenberg Traurig has expanded to have 2000 attorneys serving clients from 38 offices in the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Along the way, the firm has maintained a focus on its Florida roots, with seven offices and 331 attorneys throughout the state.
“We are proud to receive Law360’s Florida Powerhouse designation, which is testament to our ability to adapt to our clients’ changing needs in a dynamic marketplace while remaining dedicated to the state we call ‘home,’” said Matt Gorson, co-chairman. “We have played an important role in shaping our home state, not only from a legal and business perspective but through our commitment to generously giving back and supporting community organizations making a real difference.”
