Greenberg Traurig Trademark & Brand Management attorneys will present various panels and table topics during the 2025 International Trademark Association (INTA) Conference in San Diego, CA. On Monday, May 19, GT Shareholder Joel Feldman, co-chair of the Global Trademark & Brand Management Group, will moderate the Professor's Panel from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PT. Joel will also be moderating the Professor vs. Practitioner Debate "Resolved: Trademark dilution laws are essential to protecting brand identity and pose no real threat to free expression" from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. The panel of professionals will delve into the complex relationship between dilution law and public policy, examining how protections against blurring and tarnishment may support or restrict freedom of expression—and whether such laws truly belong in trademark statutes. Joel will also moderate a table topic, “Naked (Licensing)” on Tuesday, May 20.
GT Shareholder Tiffany Blofield will moderate the session "ADR: Preparing to Successfully Mediate an IP Dispute (and Avoiding the Pitfalls!)". The panel of professionals will explore strategies for successfully mediating intellectual property disputes outside of court, while discussing the inherit challenges of alternative dispute resolution and will take place on Sunday, May 18, at 11:15 am - 12:15 pm.
