Damian Kossakowski focuses his practice on advising corporate clients in connection with corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on trademark protection. He has been supervising and implementing legal projects across various sectors, such as infrastructure, environment protection, industry and brokerage services. He provides legal advice on domestic and international transactions at all stages, including due diligence, transaction structuring and preparation of transactional documentation.

- Participated in legal and transactional advisory for Duna Aszfalt Zrt. in connection with the acquisition of 100% of shares of Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A., being part of Mota-Engil Group, one of the key companies operating in the infrastructure and development of roads and motorways in Poland.°
- Participated in legal and transactional advisory for Czech brokerage company in connection with the acquisition of 82,35% of shares of a brokerage company operating on the Polish market, including advisory in the due diligence process, negotiations and preparation of transactional documentation.°
- Participated in legal advisory for INNOFREIGHT s.r.o. regarding the joint-venture project on incorporating a limited liability company in Poland, operating in the field of freight forwarding.°
- Conducted several due diligence advisory projects for international companies (including Italian investment fund or German entities) regarding companies operating on the Polish market.°
- Advised several clients in connection with examination of registrability of trademarks, registration of trademarks before EUIPO and UPRP (including for example Ostendi, Just.Cooperate, Clean Whale).°
- Advised clients during the opposition proceedings and settlements regarding the registration of trademarks (trademark RE:VIEW).°
- Advised clients in IP matters, in such fields as preparation of licence and transfer of copyrights agreements (Marie Zelie, software development SPV company of Islandic Bank).°
- Advised clients in connection with ongoing business and corporate matters, such as preparation of various civil law contracts, preparation of corporate documentation regarding changes of shareholders, raise / decrease of share capital, change of corporate bodies members.°
