Austin Evans is a trial lawyer in the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Denver and Atlanta offices, and a shareholder in the firm. He represents products manufacturers and retailers in high-profile, nationwide litigation. Austin’s practice focuses on defending individual and mass-tort cases at both state and federal levels, including multidistrict litigations (MDLs), involving diverse claims against international corporations.

Austin has robust trial and litigation management experience, defending clients in the retail, consumer products, airline, automotive, life sciences, and pharmaceutical/medical device industries. He handles all aspects of complex mass tort and product liability cases from early case assessment through trial, frequently in the toughest jurisdictions in the country. Having participated in more than 15 trials, Austin works up and evaluates each matter with a view towards trial.

Trusted by clients, Austin leverages his in-house experience at a Fortune 50 retailer to identify problems before they arise, and develops creative strategies to approach them. He takes a strategic, practical and results-driven approach to litigation, and counsels clients with a 360 degree mindset. In addition to his litigation work, Austin has counseled clients on risk mitigation, large-scale settlement programs, and internal investigations.

Austin has also counseled some of the world’s largest companies following mass shootings. Having managed these matters in-house and litigated them externally, Austin is aware of the unique legal challenges they present and provides helpful counsel to companies when they need it most.
