WARSAW – 26 November 2024– Greenberg Traurig advised Eastnine AB, a Swedish real estate company, on the acquisition of the Warsaw Unit office building located in the Wola district of Warsaw from Ghelamco.
The transaction value is EUR 280 million, which makes it the largest office transaction in Europe in 2024.
Warsaw Unit offers over 59,800 sqm of efficient office space over 46 floors. It is the first facility in Poland certified with WELL v2, on Platinum level as well as BREEAM certificate at the Outstanding level. It is fully adapted to work in a post-pandemic reality and is among the safest buildings in the world.
The Greenberg Traurig transactional team was led by Counsel Olga Durawa, who was supported by Associate Paulina Walczewska, Associate Maciej Smaczyński as well as Igor Jędrys. Counsel Justyna Jamroży, Associate Natalia Skomorowska and Junior Associate Weronika Kopeć were responsible for the financing aspects of the transaction. The corporate team included Local Partner Filip Kijowski, Senior Associate Tomasz Denko and Associate Patrycja Wakuluk.
