AUSTIN, Texas – May 29, 2024 – Karen M. Kennard, co-managing shareholder of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Austin office, gave the spring 2024 commencement speech at her alma mater, Texas Tech University School of Law.
"It was an honor to address the Texas Tech Law School graduating class of 2024. This institution, which I hold in the highest regards, played an instrumental role in my life both personally and professionally, and has significantly contributed to the person that I am today,” Kennard said. “I enjoyed returning to Lubbock and sharing my experiences and insights with the TTU Law School Class of 2024.”

Her experience spans more than three decades and includes positions as city attorney for the City of Austin, Texas and general counsel for the Texas Municipal League (TML).
