Greenberg Traurig’s Kristen J. Lonergan, Samir NeJame, Stephen L. Rabinowitz & Edward C. Wallace Named to City & State’s 2022 Real Estate Power 100 List

NEW YORK- Feb. 28, 2022Kristen J. Lonergan, Samir NeJame, Stephen L. Rabinowitz, and Edward C. Wallace, shareholders in the New York offices of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, have been named among the City & State’s “Real Estate Power 100.”

According to the publication, the list of 100 includes the industry executives, commissioners, lawmakers, lobbyists, advocates and activists involved in the future direction of real estate in New York.

Meet the Greenberg Traurig attorneys on the list:

  • Lonergan is co-chair of the New York Real Estate Practice. She counsels REITs, investment funds, developers, lenders, and other clients on the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of multifamily, office, hotel, and other types of properties throughout New York and the rest of the country.
  • NeJame chairs the New York State Government Law & Policy Practice. He focuses on representing the New York real estate industry, including the Real Estate Board of New York, as well as SL Green, Brookfield, and Tishman Speyer, three of the largest landlords in the United States.
  • Rabinowitz is co-chair of the firm’s Global Real Estate Practice. He serves as an adviser to a wide variety of private equity funds, asset managers, developers, and institutional and entrepreneurial investors and operators in the acquisition, financing, development, sale, and leasing of all classes of commercial properties including multifamily, office, hospitality, and condominium properties. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to venture formation and engineering sophisticated capital structures.
  • Wallace is co-chairman of Greenberg Traurig’s New York office. He is a trusted advisor to many clients and has represented major institutions and real estate companies, Columbia University, New York University, and Fordham University in their Manhattan expansions. In addition, he has advised Extell, Silverstein, Fetner Properties, and other leading developers and financial and media companies. Wallace currently advises Hornblower, New York city’s ferry provider, and serves as outside national counsel to JCDecaux, the world’s largest bus shelter company. Active in the New York civic community, he serves as vice-chair of the French American Foundation and the Citizens Budget Commission and he is a board member emeritus of New Yorkers for Parks, where he previously served as chair.
