MIAMI – June 8, 2015 – Eva M. Spahn, an Associate in the Miami Litigation Practice of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., was shortlisted for the Future Leader award – Private Practice category as part of the 2015 Chambers USA Women in Law Awards. Honorees were recognized at a ceremony and reception Tuesday, June 2, at The Harvard Club in New York City.
According to Chambers and Partners, producers of the awards and publishers of global legal directories, the initiative recognizes law firms as well as companies that have excelled in introducing gender diversity and mentoring initiatives that have made a significant difference to the retention and promotion of women in the legal field. The individual awards recognize outstanding performances of private practice and in-house counsel from different regions. Criteria for nomination include the success of a lawyer’s individual practice, in addition to their work and commitment to gender equality, mentoring, and public service.
At Greenberg Traurig, Spahn focuses her practice on commercial litigation. In addition to handling complex commercial matters in various forums, including state and federal court and arbitrations, Spahn’s practice includes representing clients in matters involving the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
