DRI 2025 Women in the Law Seminar

The 2025 DRI Women in the Law Seminar will take place on February 26 - 28 in San Antonio, Texas. The seminar unites women in the legal field for open and honest conversations about strengths through struggles, and to celebrate victories through the unique challenges women face. Marcella C. Ducca will speak on a panel titled, "Empathy Against the Egregious: Navigating Sex Abuse and Other Psychologically Traumatic Injuries Using a Trauma-Informed and Empathetic Approach in Litigation," on February 27 at 10:30 a.m. The speakers will use their experience as they discuss the importance of understanding the impact of trauma, and how empathy can be used as an effective strategy in litigation and also showcase humanity when defending difficult cases.
