  • Secured full recovery of large insurance claim for railcar damage for a commodity supply and logistics corporation after litigation under maritime law.
  • Representation of, and provision of legal advice to, a nationwide restaurant chain in litigation claims relating to site development, easements, construction, and contractor performance.
  • Representation of a major truck stop chain in lawsuits relating to site development, construction, drainage, and contamination.
  • Representation of mortgage servicer in condemnation of real property by the State.
  • Representation of national mortgage servicers in defense of varied lawsuits and appeals, including breach of contract, trespass to try title, and wrongful foreclosure, along with adversarial claims in bankruptcy courts.
  • Defense of issuers of mortgage-backed securities in multimillion-dollar repurchase litigation and investor disputes.
  • Provision of legal advice to a national bank regarding liability and compliance under federal laws and regulations, in addition to revision of policies and procedures in advance of federal agency examinations.
  • Representation of hotel franchisee in lawsuit involving claims for breach of franchise agreement.
  • Defending a medical device manufacturer of IVC filters against claims for negligence and strict liability failure to warn, design defect, and manufacturing defect, breach of warranty, and misrepresentation as lead counsel in individual lawsuits pending in the Southern District of Texas.
  • Defending a medical device manufacturer in all phases of its multidistrict products liability litigation concerning its pelvic mesh products, including cases within the MDL and individual cases remanded for trial in their originating states.
  • Defending a medical device manufacturer in multidistrict products liability litigation concerning its hernia mesh products.
  • Defended a major manufacturer of home appliance components against claims including breach of contract, breach of warranty and indemnity, in addition to resolving complex issues regarding the Uniform Commercial Code, purchase orders, and competing contract terms.
