Maciej Pietrzak has been elevated to the position of Local Partner
Maciej Pietrzak, attorney-at-law / solicitor (England and Wales) (Mergers & Acquisitions) focuses his practice on corporate matters with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, business and asset acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and shareholders agreements across a number of industries. Maciej also has experience in investments in private investment funds, W&I cover, general commercial matters, and corporate governance matters for listed companies. He is admitted to practice in England and Poland. Prior to joining the Warsaw office Maciej worked at the Greenberg Traurig London office and at the London office of another international law firm.
Barbara Pancer and Antoni Libiszowski have been elevated to the Counsel position
Barbara Pancer, attorney-at-law (Real Estate), is a specialist in energy and infrastructure projects, environmental issues (particularly related to the development process) as well as in construction and engineering issues. She advises on all aspects of Polish environmental law regulations, in particular within the scope of administrative procedures during the investment process (including environmental impact assessments), air protection, waste management, water protection, liability for contaminated land and other harm to the environment, as well as with respect to regulations affecting certain areas of business activity. Barbara represents institutional and private investors, developers, banks, state agencies, landlords and tenants in retail, warehouse, office and residential real estate projects. She also represents clients in matters related to renewable energy sources.
Antoni Libiszowski, advocate (Litigation and Arbitration), focuses his practice on litigation (including, specifically, representation of clients in international and domestic arbitration proceedings, disputes before common and administrative courts), bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, as well as on matters related to individual and collective labor law regulations and criminal law.
