MEXICO CITY – Jan. 10, 2023 – Attorneys from global law firm Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico City office represented Volkswagen Leasing in the public offering of MX$1 billion worth of notes on the Mexican Stock Exchange. The offering was carried out Nov. 10 and settled Nov. 15. The notes have an irrevocable and unconditional guaranty by Volkswagen Financial Services Aktiengesellschaft. The offer was made under the Volkswagen Leasing recurrent issuer program.
Volkswagen Leasing is a subsidiary of Volkswagen Financial Services AG in Mexico and was formed Sept. 2006. The company provides financing solutions for vehicle, insurance, and maintenance services, as well as equipment and accessories.
Shareholders Juan Manuel González Bernal and José Antonio Butrón led the Mexico City office attorney team that included Corporate Practice Associates David Argueta and Philippe Curuchet.
