FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – May 4, 2015 – Attorneys and business staff in the Fort Lauderdale office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. participated in a Build Day with Habitat for Humanity of Broward in April.
Greenberg Traurig volunteers, led by Fort Lauderdale Administrative Shareholder Matthew W. Miller and Real Estate Shareholder Dan McCawley, spent the day working at the Habitat for Humanity Hallandale Beach site. Perry Ecton, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Broward, greeted the group and spoke of the need for additional volunteers and the positive impact associated with Habitat projects.
“We are proud to support Habitat for Humanity of Broward and are grateful for the dedication of our volunteers,” said Miller, also a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice. “This is just another example of our firm’s steadfast commitment to giving back to the local community.”
“Our Fort Lauderdale volunteers were enthusiastic and eager to lend a hand at the build site,” said McCawley. “I am honored to be a part of Habitat and also provide legal assistance for such a vital community organization.”
