SAN FRANCISCO (May 16, 2014) – G. Michelle Ferreira, Managing Shareholder of the San Francisco office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been recognized by The San Francisco Business Times as one of the “Most Influential Women” in Bay Area Business. Ferreira and the other recipients of this honor will be recognized at a gala awards dinner on June 12 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
The San Francisco Business Times recognizes women who have risen to the highest positions in corporate, private sector and larger nonprofit/government institutions in the Bay Area. According to the publication, this list includes women who are accomplished in a range of fields and though they work in different industries, they share perseverance and a passion for what they do – and volunteer their time and expertise to help improve their communities.
“We are very proud of Michelle who has managed our San Francisco office for the last two years and has successfully continued our strategy of building a collaborative team of highly skilled attorneys,” said Greenberg Traurig Co-Chairman, Matthew Gorson. “Michelle leads by example – embodying the highest level of service for clients and rolling up her sleeves to participate fully in her communities at home, professionally and within the firm – adding value every step of the way. We are excited for Michelle to receive this recognition and for her continued leadership in the Bay Area.”
