MIAMI (May 19, 2014) – Moshe Lehrfield, a shareholder in the Real Estate Practice at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, and his wife, Jennifer Lehrfield, were honored Wednesday at Young Israel of Greater Miami’s “In The Community” 55th Young Israel Gala Annual Dinner for their extensive involvement and influence in the Jewish community. Lehrfield, who serves on the organization’s board of directors, has been a member of the organization along with his wife since 1987.
At Greenberg Traurig, Lehrfield focuses his practice on representing institutions, investors and developers in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on the acquisition, financing and leasing of commercial properties. He has handled transactions involving industrial and office properties, multi-family and apartment complexes and shopping centers.
Lehrfield’s community involvement includes having served as a member of the boards of directors of the Jewish Community Center of North Dade, Toras Emis Academy of Greater Miami, Yeshiva Toras Chaim and Beth Jacob High School. He is an adjunct professor for the University of Miami School of Law.
Throughout his career, Lehrfield has received awards and recognitions. Most recently, these have included: Team Member, The Legal 500 United States, "Top Tier" Firm in Real Estate, 2013; Team Member, a Law360 "Real Estate Practice Group of the Year," 2011, 2012 and 2013; and Member, Winning Team, Chambers USA Award for Excellence, Real Estate, 2010 and 2013. He received a bachelor’s of Hebrew letters degree and a degree in rabbinical jurisprudence from the Israel Torah Research Institute and a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
