MIAMI (October 23, 2014) – International law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. was honored with an award from Children’s Home Society of Florida at the organization’s annual Claws for a Cause Dinner Oct. 14 at Joe’s Stone Crab Restaurant in Miami Beach.
Children’s Home Society of Florida works to break the cycle of abuse and heal children in crisis by providing shelter and counseling. At the same time the organization helps to create and strengthen families in the community, while advocating for funding and legislation for child welfare services.
Greenberg Traurig was recognized for its philanthropic commitment to the organization. Throughout the year, Greenberg Traurig employees donated backpacks and school supplies during the Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Back to School Drive and volunteered their time through the GT Cares program to plant a garden with the Children’s Home Society of Florida’s children at the McLamore Center located in Miami.
Greenberg Traurig Miami Litigation Shareholder Danielle N. Garno serves as the Chair of Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Southeastern Board of Directions.
