Greenberg Traurig's National Environmental Practice Co-Chair Kerri L. Barsh is a panelist for the University of Miami's School of Law Environmental Law Program Distinguished Speakers Series. There will be a presentation on the recent Supreme Court of the United States Loper Bright decision which limits the deference courts may give to agencies' interpretation of silence and ambiguities in the law and allows Congress to possibly respond by writing more detailed legislation in an attempt to leave fewer gaps, and strengthening its oversight of the executive branch rulemaking process, and what changes and impact attorneys expect in navigating environmental law and regulatory governance moving forward.
