Data center as a new asset class / Frankfurt am Main

Artificial intelligence, smart cities, 5G/6G, Industry 4.0: advancing digitization and modern technological developments are leading to strong demand for high-performance data centers. Expert:ins assume that demand will increase by around 10,000 new data centers in the coming years alone.

In turn, the increasing economic challenges will lead to significantly fewer project developments in the residential, office, retail or hotel segments. Therefore, the question arises:

Is the data center a new asset class for project developers, property owners and fund companies?

Together with the consulting firm Drees & Sommer and the ULI (Urban Land Institute), we are organizing a series of events on this topic.
